Gotham's new District Attorney has been elected. His name is Harvey Dent, and he has a radical new agenda that threatens to take down Gotham's organized crime underworld once and for all with an iron fist. But the emergence of the rogue vigilante known as Batman has caused problems for Dent and his agenda. A new criminal mastermind known only as "The Joker" has arrived and aims to take Gotham out from under Harvey Dent's iron fist. But I found this movie so annoying that I'm really surprised why did people like it. So I'll just try to explain why I didn't like it. is the most boring movie I have ever seen. I never liked Batman movies, but this is the worst one. I watched it just because my friend told me it was good. But I didn't enjoy it I nearly fell asleep. 2. The movie doesn't have any sense it's stupid. I don't get the 's flat 3. The characters are so annoying. There is no likable character in this movie. All of them are boring. I have to admit that Heath Ledger was great, but there is nothing else I liked in this movie. It's just my opinion maybe I just didn't get something...

Two - I think the rating says that no one would care for my review.
But I was itching to write a review of this movie ever since I saw it. Cos it was almost annoying me, with people going on and on about Heath Leadger, TDK ever since 2008. I wanted to see what this movie has, that has everyone going.
WHAT I LIKED.
I have to say its a great movie. A new take of Batman movies with the obviously more darker and a more vulnerable version of Batman.
The scene where batman plucks Tau from the tower back to Gotham - superb stuff!
Heath Ledger is every bit the part although only in the second half.
But Christopher Nolan is what is the best thing about this movie. You can see his thoughts and visions via the Joker, and how he got everything out of Heath, the sarcastic view of society & humans, the science stuff and the gripping screenplay!
WHY I FEEL ITS OVERRATED!
The portrayal of powerful protagonists as vulnerable people with darker themes was already done in movies with Casino Royale or even Superman Returns I guess. So personally this created predictability for me with TDK.
Heath Ledger was great, but I am not quite sure every discussion about best performances in movies should end with "Get lost, Heath as Joker is best ever. Even some saying "X's whole career is nothing compared to Heath as Joker.
Joker was shown way too powerful. He can blow up anything, plant huge cache of explosives wherever and whenever he chooses. He always has people where ever and whenever he wants. Here it deviates from being dark to becoming comics. br> The tunnel chase where Joker easily shoots at Police vans as though they are ice cream trucks, with no retaliation from Police, looked a hard pill to digest. It looked b-grade for me. There were such "Ugh" moments here and there. Not perfect.
I think the fact that Heath had an unfortunate end to his career, made people hype the movie more with ratings in IMDb.
It was great but not greatest IMO.
